Junior Beginner Class
The curriculum begins with common dialogues, using a variety of engaging activities and exercises such as songs, games, and crafts to spark children's enthusiasm for learning Chinese. The aim is to cultivate students' logical thinking and imagination.
Senior Beginner Class
Exchange greetings and make simple introduction, become familiar with Pinyin and the four tones in Mandarin. Various activities like drawing and crafts help students gain an impression of Chinese characters and build a general awareness of character structure. The aim is to build greater confidence in terms of speaking skills of standard Chinese and Improve interest of standard Chinese.
Junior Advanced Class
Common sentence structures are introduced. Hands-on activities are incorporated throughout the learning process, enhancing the fun while helping students master and reinforce new knowledge. Chinese culture, such as traditions and festivals, is detailed to deepen students’ appreciation for Chinese characters and culture.
Senior Advanced Class
The focus shifts to the strokes and structure of Chinese characters, especially radicals, to build students' foundational writing skills. Emphasis is placed on parts of speech, guiding students to differentiate nouns, measure words, verbs, and adjectives. Chinese culture, such as traditions and festivals, is detailed to deepen students’ appreciation for Chinese characters and culture.
First Class
Starting with learning pinyin, students are taught to master proper lip and tongue positioning and blending sounds. Songs and tongue twisters are incorporated to add fun and develop a sense of language. Various activities like drawing and crafts help students gain an impression of Chinese characters and build a general awareness of character structure. Students are encouraged to use Chinese in daily life, cultivating a feel for speaking Chinese.
Second Class
The focus shifts to the strokes and structure of Chinese characters, especially radicals, to build students' foundational writing skills. Through games, crafts, and other activities, interest in Chinese is fostered, and vocabulary gradually expanded. Students are encouraged to express themselves in Chinese about everyday life.
Third Class
Emphasis is placed on parts of speech, guiding students to differentiate nouns, measure words, verbs, and adjectives. Writing skills are strengthened, and good handwriting habits are encouraged. Students are motivated to read texts aloud and give speeches to improve their Chinese expression. The YCT exam is introduced, helping students set learning goals and develop habits like previewing before class and reviewing afterward.
Fourth Class
Common sentence structures are introduced, and students practice writing sentences of varying lengths. Chinese culture, such as traditions and festivals, is detailed to deepen students’ appreciation for Chinese characters and culture. Through an integration of language and culture, students gain both language skills and cultural insight. Teaching methods like task-based learning, flipped classrooms, and scenario-based teaching add interest and a sense of accomplishment in learning Chinese.
Fifth Class
Students begin paragraph-writing exercises, describing people, events, and scenery, transitioning from sentences to paragraphs. Higher-level vocabulary, including idioms and proverbs, is introduced. Extensive reading of Chinese books is encouraged to boost reading speed and comprehension. Independent learning is emphasised, with students encouraged to look up words and conduct their own research. Character writing speed is improved, laying a solid foundation for Chinese writing.
Sixth Class
Simple forms of writing such as emails, letters, and diaries are practiced to introduce students to basic Chinese writing formats. Oral communication skills are further developed, guiding students to use precise and appropriate language to logically and coherently express their ideas and viewpoints in real-life situations. A variety of teaching methods and comprehensive assessments are used to ensure students achieve accuracy and fluency across the four skills: listening, speaking, reading, and writing in Chinese.
Irish Leaving Certificate Class
This class supports students in consolidating key components for the Leaving Certificate exam, including radicals, essential vocabulary, required grammar, themes, and poetry. Aligned closely with the exam content and question formats, the class helps students identify and address their weaker areas. Students are guided in problem-solving approaches, taught exam strategies, and participate in multiple mock exams to familiarize themselves with exam procedures, ease anxiety, and achieve their best possible results.

一年级:以学习拼音为起点,教授学生掌握正确的唇舌位置及拼读能力,通过儿歌、绕口令增添乐趣,培养语感。并以画画、手工等多种方式让学生感知中国汉字,建立对汉字的整体印象。鼓励学生日常汉语的使用,培养学生说中文的语感。
二年级:以汉字笔画、结构入手,重点让学生掌握对偏旁部首的学习,培养学生汉字基本书写能力,通过游戏、手工等引导并增加学生对中文的兴趣,逐步提高学生的汉语词汇量,鼓励学生用中文表达日常生活。
三年级:以汉语的词性为重点,引导学生区分名词、量词、动词及形容词。加强和巩固学生汉字书写能力,培养学生练字习惯。鼓励学生朗读课文、发表演讲,提高学生中文表达能力。开始引进YCT考试,帮助学生设立学习目标,建立学生课前预习,课后复习等好习惯。
四年级:以中文常用句型导入,尝试让学生书写各种长短句。详细介绍民俗、节日等中国文化,让学生对中国汉字和中国文化有更深的认同感。通过语言和文化的自然结合,力求学生在增加汉语知识的同时提高运用语言的能力。采用任务教学法、反转课堂、情境教学等,增加学生学习中文的趣味性和成就感。
五年级:安排人物、事件、风景等段落描写写作练习,引导学生开始由句到段的过度。开始涉及成语、谚语等高阶词汇,鼓励学生大量阅读中文图书,提升学生中文阅读速度和对中文的理解能力。培养学生的独立学习能力,鼓励学生自己查字典,找资料。提高学生汉字书写速度,奠定扎实的中文书写基础。
六年级:安排电邮、书信、日记等简单文体写作练习,让学生对中文写作模式有初步的了解。培养学生中文口语交际能力,指导学生在实际生活中运用准确、得体的语言,有逻辑、有条理地表达思想和观点。多样性教学,综合性评估出,最终实现听说读写四项技能方面能够准确并流利的运用汉语。
爱尔兰高考班:帮助学生总结高考所涉及的偏旁部首、重点词汇、必考语法、主题及诗歌等, 紧贴高考内容及题型,帮助学生找出短板。引导学生做题思路,教授学生考试技巧,通过多次模拟考试,让学生熟悉考场规则,消除紧张,达到最好的考试成绩
