[Kilcoole, Co. Wicklow – 20/04/2025] – Students from the Ireland China Education College (ICEC) enjoyed a fun-filled Easter Playday at Glenroe Farm, taking part in traditional Easter egg hunts, exploring the outdoors, and creating joyful memories in a unique cultural setting.
ICEC, a local educational centre offering Chinese language tutorials and art training to children and young people in the community, organised the outing as part of its mission to promote cross-cultural learning through real-world experiences.
Held on the 20th of April, the visit allowed students to connect with nature, spend quality time with classmates, and take part in festive Easter activities—all while enjoying the fresh air and peaceful surroundings of Glenroe Farm.
“Our goal is to provide a rich, well-rounded education that blends language, creativity, and cultural engagement,” said Dr. Tony Jie - The secretary of ICEC. “Days like this help our students build confidence, friendships, and a deeper connection to the local and global community.”
