Bray, Ireland – [17/03/2025] – Ireland China Education College (ICEC) proudly participated in this year’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade in Bray, making history as the only group primarily composed of children. The event was a fantastic opportunity for students to engage with the local community, celebrate Irish culture, and share elements of Chinese heritage.
With students leading the way, ICEC’s parade group drew enthusiastic cheers from the crowd. Many students dressed in traditional Chinese attire or Irish-themed outfits, proudly waving Irish and Chinese flags. The highlight of the performance was a stunning Guzheng musical showcase, performed by two talented students at the review stand, capturing the hearts of spectators.
“Seeing our students march with such joy and confidence was truly heartwarming,” said Dr. Linda Hua Zhao, Principal of ICEC. “They experienced a moment of pride, especially when recognising friends, teachers, and community members cheering them on along the route.”
Throughout the parade, ICEC students demonstrated resilience, teamwork, and enthusiasm, embracing the spirit of cultural exchange. The event also reinforced ICEC’s core mission—to bridge communities through language and the arts.
ICEC extends its gratitude to all parents, teachers, and volunteers who supported the students in making this event a success. The school remains committed to fostering cultural understanding and providing high-quality education in Mandarin, Fine Art, and Dance.
